Yellowjack

from Boatpaddle by heather luttrell

about

We wrote this love song based on a story surrounding the yellow fever epidemic of 1873. It was about a boat named the John D. Porter that attempted to save people from the sickness in Memphis by transporting them up river to another location that wasn't infected. But no port would let them dock, so they all died on the boat.
Feel good hit of the year... :)
